Husband of the late actress Brittany Murphy was found dead Sunday night in Los Angeles at his home in Hollywood Hills, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Screenwriter Simon Monjack died at his home in block 1800, Rising Glen Road, just five months after the death of his wife, according to Sergeant Louie Lozano. Monjack cause of death is unknown.
"While there was a detective at the scene," said Lozano. "They're doing an investigation. As soon as we receive more information in, we will provide. "
At 21:24 hours Sunday night, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an emergency phone call from 911 at the request of "an unknown medical help." According to fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey, firefighters had time to provide medical services to Monjack. He then declared dead.
In February, the Los Angeles medical examiner's office stated that the actress Brittany Murphy died of pneumonia which dikomplikasi by iron deficiency, anemia, and had all sorts of drug poisoning. Forensic officers explained that Murphy's heart failed due to 'drug input'. They classify the death of Murphy on December 29 as an accident.
